Monsters, Magic and Mayhem with Sam Enthoven, Steve Feasey and Conrad Mason.

Saturday October 12th. 5.00pm at Noel Park Primary School.

Demons, trolls, vomiting bats, werewolves, elves, hybrid monsters. This has it all!
Meet three of our most magical kids authors for an hour of out of this world fun. Sam, Steve and Conrad will be taking you through their fictional worlds, chatting about fantastical fiction and offering great advice to anyone interested in writing.
Here's a little more about these amazing authors;

Sam Enthoven is the author of The Black Tattoo (demon possession, and the vomitting bats I mentioned earlier), TIM; Defender of the earth (rampaging monsters smashing London's famous landmarks) and Crawlers (giant, spider like creatures that attach themselves to you and take over your mind). I read Crawlers in a single sitting, and then had to sleep with the light on. Each of Sam's books is a stand alone story and is a brilliant mixture of reality and fantasy.

Steve Feasey is the author of the amazing Changeling series, following the fortunes of a teenager who finds out he's a werewolf. But it doesn't just stop at werewolves, No way. There are vampires, demons, zombies and all manner of beasties running around in Steve's amazing world. There are currently five books in the series, and you should really try them out.

Conrad Mason is the author of Demon's Watch and The Goblin's Gift. These are both in the Tales of Fayt series, and follows the adventures of Joseph Grubb, a half-goblin half human, enlisted to the Demon's Watch, protectors fo the coastal village Port Fayt. It's a place where humans live in peace alongside trolls, elves and fairies. Conrad's books are rip-roaring adventures full of pirates, magical creatures and unlikely heroes Imagine if Pirates of the Carribean met Terry Pratchett and you'd get some idea of what to expect.

What is so special about these three authors, is that they write books that kids want to read. They're fast paced, fun, thrilling adventures, which allow the reader to use his or her imagination. I would happily recommend any of their books to a young person who's looking for an intelligent, escapist novel.

We can promise you an hour of great fun and the authors will be happy to answer any questions you may have. They'll even sign copies of their books for you, if you ask nicely.
