Zoe Margolis & Suzanne Moore ask "Is Sisterhood Sexy?"

Please join us for what promises to be a very lively and entertaining discussion in the company of Zoe Margolis and Suzanne Moore.



Zoe Margolis Zoe is the author of the international bestseller Girl With A One Track Mind, a memoir exploring her sex life, written anonymously, and the follow-up book Girl With A One Track Mind: Exposed, which detailed her life post-outing by a national newspaper.
The blog on which both books are based has had over eight million visitors, won the Bloggie Award for “Best British or Irish Weblog” in both 2006 and 2007, was ranked 24th “Most Powerful Blog in the World” by The Observer.
Zoe is a frequent contributor to The Guardian and The Observer, amongst many other publications, and a regular commentator on sex and feminist issues on the BBC’s Review Show, Newsnight and Woman’s Hour.

Suzanne Moore Award-winning journalist, writer and Guardian columnist Suzanne Moore began her career at Marxism Today. For over 20 years Moore has written for everything from Grazia to the London Review of Books. She has contributed to The New Statesman and authored two books of collected journalism (Looking for Trouble, 1991, Head over Heels, 1998). She has also contributed essays to books from Amazonians to Punk Rock So What. She has dealt with topics as diverse as the significance of underarm hair to an analysis of Blairism. Suzanne writes about politics, both personal and political, in all its many forms.

Suzanne and Zoe will no doubt touch on their writing and journalism and also their experiences with the media.
Zoe's books wil be available at the festival and she'll be happy to sign copies after the event.
